Amsterdam based visual designer Jelijn Verhoeven and creative director Boris Lutters founded SKARV in 2020. Starting as a small scale creative project combining a passion for visual and fashion design in colourful scarves made for friends, the brand and production approach grew organically from there; experimenting with different knitting and colour combinations.

All skarvs are 100% Woolmark certified merino wool; a natural fibre that's high quality, super soft, cleans itself, and stays smelling fresh and you don’t have to wash it very often. 

SKARV aim to be as sustainable as possible through European sourcing and production - all fabrics are sourced from the Netherlands or Europe, and knitted in the Netherlands, allowing them to meet production partners regularly; picking colours and reviewing samples in person to minimise production waste.
